My favourite song…

Last week I posted the song of mine which my audience most liked, this week I’m posting my own favourite.

A lot of my songs have a travelling theme, due to the life I’ve lived. And this one, I think, sums it up more than any other. It also displays some of my favourite quirks as a songwriter. I’m really pleased with the lyrics, how they flow, word choice, etc. It was really fun to write, an endless tangle of poetry just fell effortlessly from within. It’s also structured nicely, with enough little bits to keep one amused. And this recording of it is fabulous, with a great beat to strut to, along with a groovy-gritty guitar riff and melodic backing vocals.
